This exciting opportunity will appeal to midwives with an interest in the care of those with diabetes in pregnancy. The role involves working closely alongside a friendly and welcoming multidisciplinary team of Diabetologists, Nurses, Obstetricians and Midwives in order to deliver high quality care to women with T1, T2 and gestational diabetes.
The job involves providing high standard antenatal care alongside management of the glucose tolerance (GTT) testing pathway, being a point of contact between teams, providing education both to newly diagnosed patients and to midwives and support workers.
We are looking for a motivated, organised and friendly individual to join our team. An understanding of diabetes in pregnancy and being a midwife-prescriber would be beneficial, although training will be provided in-role.
The job will be full time (37.5 hours per week) though there will be the option of flexi-working with the possibility of some compressed hours.
