The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) is the leading professional organisation and trade union for Midwives and Maternity Support Workers.

Representing the interests of midwives and maternity support worker across the UK, individually and collectively, we strive to promote excellence, innovation and leadership in the care of childbearing women, the newborn and their families, locally, nationally and internationally.

As the RCM’s Quality and Standards Advisor, you will contribute to shaping the future of midwifery policy and practice. You will have an exciting opportunity to influence the delivery of high-quality midwifery care. Working cross-functionally with both external stakeholders and RCM colleagues across the UK, you will:
• Provide evidence-based advice, information, and support on clinical practice to our members and colleagues across Team RCM
• Deliver analytical support to a range of RCM strategies, publications, products, and policies
• Represent the RCM on committees, forums and working parties, both internally and externally
You will help us to Be the Best We Can Be by:
• Using data systems and data analysis skills to monitor quality in midwifery care
• Using your excellent writing skills to contribute to RCM guidance and publications
• Being the operational lead for the RCM’s midwifery practice guidelines programme, projects, campaigns, and networks, using your excellent organisation skills
