Are you an experienced midwife? Are you ready to work in an “outstanding” maternity unit with baby friendly accreditation? Do you want to work in a forward thinking NHS Foundation Trust across Bristol and Weston?

We currently have several permanent posts available in our Midwifery teams. Our posts are all rotational posts and would give successful candidates the opportunity of acting as a Band 6 in a leadership role as a coordinator on the wards in a hospital rotational team either on the ward or on Central Delivery Suite or working on Midwifery Led Unit or our Transitional care Unit. There are also opportunities to work within the traditional midwifery model or as part of a Continuity of Care team across United Hospitals Bristol & Weston (UHBW) community settings.

The ideal candidate for the role will:

Be able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
Be flexible with a caring attitude.
Have excellent and extended clinical skills
Be able to develop their clinical skills and participate in continuing their professional development
Have experience in solving problems and using their initiative
Have the ability to take the lead when caring for women and their babies
Be able to communicate and work together in a multidisciplinary team
