Named Midwife
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust’s safeguarding team as the Named Midwife.
As part of the corporate safeguarding service, the Named Midwife will be responsible for the delivery and monitoring of safeguarding procedures and the provision of specialised advice and expert knowledge to staff, peers, other professionals and multi-agency partners on all aspects of maternity safeguarding.
The successful candidate will have the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and work effectively as part of a team but also on their own initiative. The post holder must be passionate about safeguarding and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be joining a team that are hardworking, committed and progressive which are from a range of backgrounds including maternity, paediatrics, learning disability and mental health.
