Are you currently working as a midwife and been qualified for 18 months or longer? Were you a high achiever as a student midwife?

The Department of Midwifery seeks to appoint an assistant lecturers to support the design, development and delivery of learning and teaching across midwifery programmes. You must be highly motivated, well organised with excellent communication and organisational skills. Be able to work closely with practice partners, establish clinical links, and provide pastoral support for students.

Current NMC registration as a midwife and a first degree in a relevant subject is essential.

Support to develop skills in teaching, learning and assessing by contributing to the education provision and undertaking a PGCE is provided.
