As the RCM’s Quality and Standards Advisor, you will contribute to the work of the RCM’s Professional team with the opportunity to shape the future of midwifery policy, practice and education. Supporting delivery of our team priorities:

* Inclusion and the reduction of inequalities in maternity care
* Professional growth and career pathways
* Midwives, Student Midwives and Maternity Support Workers being visible and valued

You will have an exciting opportunity to influence and gain insight into quality and standards for midwifery
clinical care and education. Working cross-functionally with both external stakeholders and RCM
colleagues across the UK, you will:

* Provide evidence-based advice, information, and support on policy, practice and education to our members and colleagues across Team RCM
* Deliver analytical support to a range of RCM strategies, publications, products, and policies.
* Represent the RCM on committees, forums and working parties, both internally and externally

You will help us to be the best we can be by:
* Using data systems and data analysis skills to monitor quality in midwifery care
* Using your excellent writing skills to contribute to RCM guidance and publications
* Being the operational lead for the RCM’s midwifery practice guidelines programme, projects, campaigns, and networks, using your excellent organisation skills
