The Gynaecology service is dynamic with a clear vision to develop and take the service into the future with increased ambulatory care.

The tertiary level 3 Neonatal Unit, which is renowned for its excellent clinical outcomes, particularly for the very preterm baby, has 34 cots and offers Intensive Care, High Dependency Care and Special Care, with Transitional Care facilities on the postnatal ward.

Bristol has again been named as the UK’s most desirable location in the Sunday Times Best Places to Live Guide. Described as “a small city that feels like a big city” it was praised for being “handily placed for seaside and scenery” but “hardly cut off” “cool, classy and supremely creative”. Bristol is consistently voted the best place to live in the UK, with vibrant local music, arts and gastronomic scenes, a wide range of modern, state-of-the-art shopping, recreation and leisure facilities, a wealth of great local family days out, fantastic transport links for local, national and internal holidays, and a rich history. If you prefer country, village or smaller town living, NBT is also easily commutable from a range of attractive locations in North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and South Wales which is now even more attractive with the ending of the toll fees on the Severn Bridges.

NBT is located in North of Bristol City centre, close to the M4/M5 junction at Almondsbury and Bristol Parkway railway station, we have excellent communication and transport links to all points North, South, East and West – the countryside and the seaside are within an easy commute.
