With a team of committed, caring and experienced Midwives, we are looking for likeminded individuals to join our team. We offer a friendly, supportive and safe service for women, their partners, babies and their families. We offer a variety of opportunities for midwives wishing to work in both the community and hospital settings and are currently modelling the opportunity for continuity of carer within our maternity service.

We have recently had an external review of our service and we are embedding a new leadership structure within the team. This will allow further development of staff, create a variety of new roles and ensure we continue to provide an outstanding experience and standard of care for every woman and her family as she embarks of her maternity journey.

We are currently looking for experienced midwives who are enthusiastic, passionate about midwifery care and who can evidence professional integrity and an honest approach to embracing new opportunities and challenges.

About us
The Maternity Unit & Salisbury NHS foundation Trust is committed to providing women centred, individualised care, ensuring that the voices of the women & families that use our service are at the centre of all we do.

Here at Salisbury, we are proud to be able to facilitate an average of 2200 births per year. As a Trust, we are lucky to have a third birth environment being built, as our new Midwifery Unit is due to open in the Summer of 2021. In addition to this we have a new relocated Day Assessment Unit opening in May 2021, so it's an exciting time to come & work at here as we move forward with delivering exceptional care to expectant mothers and their families.
