An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and motivated midwife to support the provision of antenatal & newborn screening at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. The Deputy Antenatal & Newborn Screening Midwife (postholder) will support the role of the Antenatal & Newborn Screening coordinator, the screening team and the delivery of the NHS seven antenatal and newborn screening programmes within the trust, consistent with UK National Screening Committee recommendations (UK NSC) and Public Health England (PHE) Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure the programmes run efficiently and effectively, complying with quality standards. This requires clinical knowledge and expertise and non-clinical process; and will lead to development of expert knowledge into the ANNB screening programmes and wider public health.
