The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Midwives to join our Maternity team. Approximately 6,200 women each year choose to birth at Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. We provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care across the Wakefield district and North Kirklees. We offer four choices of place of birth: home, freestanding birth centre at Dewsbury District Hospital, alongside birth centre and consultant-led delivery suite in Wakefield.

We are continuing to implement the principles outlined within Better Births, and Continuity of Carer is high on our agenda. We have successful geographical models in the community and we are now looking to expand our continuity of carer teams. You will be based in both the community and hospital settings, and will become part of our transformational workforce.

This is a permanent vacancy for a Band 6 Midwife full or part time hours will be considered.
