We are able to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Midwife to work within the regional fetal medicine unit at the Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton. This is an ideal development post for someone with an interest in prenatal screening and fetal medicine. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year, 15 hours per week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Wessex fetal medicine unit is a tertiary centre offering fetal medicine scanning, diagnostic testing and fetal therapies to women from the Wessex region and beyond. We see over 1200 women annually with often very complex pregnancies. We are a small and close- knit team and aim to support women and their families through difficult times
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be working as one of team of 4 specialist Midwives, supporting women through the pathway from diagnosis of fetal abnormality , through options for prenatal testing and decision-making. Full support and training will be given

We are looking for an enthusiastic Midwife with a passion for caring for women and their families. No prior experience of fetal medicine is needed, as training will be given.
