This is an exciting opportunity for driven and motivated midwives to become part of our Team, whilst we work towards full Maternity Service Transformation to move across to Continuity of Carer Teams. This is in line with local and national service developments and reflects the recommendations outlined in the ‘Better Births’ National Maternity Review.
We are looking for midwives who are committed and passionate to provide care during all three stages of a patients maternity journey. As 1 of our highly skilled and professional midwives you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of individualised care plans which ensures the patients needs are holistically cared for and a relationship which is built on mutual respect and trust.
These vacancies are at Band 6 to gain experience in all aspects of midwifery care within the two Acute sites, community and home birth. Research has shown continuity of carer models can have safer outcomes, therefore we invite you to become a part of our team who aim to improve the experience and outcomes forpatients and their babies, and further supporting public health initiatives in relation to healthy lifestyle, smoking cessation, fetal well-being and breastfeeding.
