An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 midwife who is passionate about physiological birth to join our well-established homebirth team

We are a small and friendly but busy unit, committed to providing the highest standards of individualised care to all our women and their families.

We deliver approximately 1400 babies per year of which 5%- 8% are born at home.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated midwife to work flexibly and autonomously to meet the needs of the families they care for, delivering high quality continuity of care to women booked with our homebirth team.

You will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, carry your own caseload, with a collective team on call commitment to cover the homebirth service

We are proud to have been rated as good overall with an Outstanding rating for Caring in our most recent CQC inspection and to also have been highly rated by our service users in the last published CQC women's survey which is testament to the high standards of care we aspire to.

The successful candidate will need to have 2 years post registration experience and be able to demonstrate relevant experience. To include:

Caseload management/recent community experience
Homebirth incl. Waterbirth
Perineal suturing
Team working
