The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a midwife who is interested in research to join the GEH Research and Development Team.

The post holder will significantly contribute to the recruitment of patients into research into reproductive health. They will facilitate the set-up, coordination and management of clinical research studies in a broad range of studies across a number of different departments.

You will be involved in many clinical research duties including the recruitment and consenting of patients and will facilitate the care of patients being treated within these trials as required, including the monitoring and observation of patients and recording of all data into individual research case report records.

The role involves using an in-depth knowledge of clinical research and of trial protocols and their application in practice, research methodology and in depth working knowledge of the requirements of local, national and international research regulations.
