Do you miss your family? Are you an expat looking to move home?

If you’re looking to reconnect with your roots and live relaxed stress free pace of life then New Zealand has a lot to offer.

Our district is growing rapidly and Waitemata DHB is looking to increase the numbers of Registered Midwives at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals in Auckland and we can assist you with a relocation package.

Auckland is well known for its eateries and coffee and has the best night life in NZ. We have many diverse cultures, easy access to facilities yet in under 40minutes you can escape city life!

Waitemata DHB covers an area north and west of Auckland city where the attitude among it’s inhabitants is all about life style – the pace of life is one that is a more relaxed than the central city.
Our mission is to make a healthy difference in our community and we love to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our people!

North Shore Hospital is located on the shores of Lake Pupuke, and is a leading secondary-care provider in Auckland. This hospital provides primary maternity and secondary obstetric services to the population of North Shore, and Hibiscus Coast. Join a supportive and values driven team that deals with a variety of interesting cases and strives to promote a normal birthing experience for women with high risk situations.
We offer a range of shift patterns to ensure that you have a satisfying work life balance.

Waitakere Hospital is located close to the Waitakere ranges and to west Auckland beaches, it provides primary maternity and secondary obstetric services to the population of West Auckland. We birth women from 32 weeks gestation and have a 12 bed SCBU. We have a LSCS rate of around 24%. The ward boosts a strong relationship with LMCs, providing the successful candidate to assist in a higher number of births. This is a midwifery led unit (No registrars or consultants) so antenatal, postnatal and birthing is all in one ward therefore you get to experience it all.
