The Department of Midwifery seeks to appoint an NMC registered midwife who holds or is willing to work towards NMC approved teacher status. Knowledge and experience of teaching in the HEI setting is essential, with a first degree and a willingness to work towards a Masters level qualification.
You must be highly motivated, well organised with good communication, IT and skills. The role will include working closely with midwifery mentors, establishing & maintaining your clinical link/personal tutor role and providing pastoral support for our students. Upon appointment allocation of module leader responsibilities and roles within the team are expected.
The post holder will help the team to develop and engage with new innovative learning and teaching methods and participate in midwifery and health related research.
