Location: Belfast office based, with travel across the UK Relocation allowance available where applicable

The key purpose of the Director for Northern Ireland post is to enhance the RCM's unique position as the United Kingdom's principle professional body and trade union for midwives through sound leadership and representation of the RCM across Northern Ireland and the UK.
You will lead on Northern Ireland specific strategies whilst having a key input into the development and implementation of all RCM's UK-wide strategies.
The Director for Northern Ireland is responsible for:
• Leadership of the RCM in Northern Ireland
• Representation on a national stage of the interests of the maternity workforce in Northern Ireland
• Managing the RCM's day-to-day operations in Northern Ireland.
The RCM staff team of 80 is based across the United Kingdom:
• Half our staff members are based at our head office on Mansfield Street in London
• Our Country teams work from our regional offices in central Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh
• Our Regional Officers, Organisers and home based staff work remotely and in the field
