An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse or Midwife to make a major contribution to the holistic care of neonates and their families within our 14 cot Neonatal Unit.

Part of the Central Newborn Network, the Neonatal Unit at Burton has 1 intensive care, 2 high dependency and 11 special care cots. Caring for babies of 29 weeks gestation and above, the unit also provides stabilisation for babies requiring transfer for intensive or specialised care.

We are a friendly unit, with an enthusiastic approach to the provision of truly family centred care. We provide an effective learning environment, which is confirmed by evaluations from our child branch and midwifery students, who feel well supported during their allocations.
