Salary: £54,234 - £67,047 pa (depending on experience)

The Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey is seeking a highly experienced registered midwife lead, to inspire and develop the maternity and children’s nursing team to deliver high quality care that meets the needs of women and children.

You will need to have experience in providing a strategic vision and direction, professional expertise and visible leadership in order to develop the Maternity and Acute Children’s Nursing services, both in hospital and the community and fostering a culture of constant improvement.

In addition you will work in partnership with the Clinical Chair/Director to manage the delivery of national, corporate and locally defined targets.

Crucially, your advanced communication skills will be a key aspect of this role as you will need to maintain effective, professional and productive communications with all stakeholders.

Leading by example and being an active role model will be important as you support the development of professional strategies to ensure that staff development reflects the national and local agenda for health, taking a lead for revalidation of midwives and acute children nursing and ensuring staff are motivated and inspired to deliver the best service possible.
