We are looking for Registered Midwives who are passionate about what they do, to join our innovative and progressive maternity unit.
Our unit at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital provides both Midwifery and Consultant led care with a delivery rate of approximately 650-700 babies per annum. In addition, we offer a full range of services across our unit consisting of Midwifery led birthing room with birthing pool, two transitional care beds, 10 antenatal/postnatal beds, three high risk labour rooms, Bereavement suite, Triage Rooms and a Pregnancy Assessment Unit.
We also have a small team of community midwives who have the opportunity to work between the community and the hospital environment.
The nature of the small unit means that our midwives get to know women really well and see them through all stages of their care, allowing them to provide a fully integrated service and giving you the opportunity to have a fulfilling career in a dynamic, changing and exciting environment.
We offer a full relocation package, which includes interview and relocation travel, in addition to our competitive pay, annual bonus and our additional bonus scheme of £3,000, payable after two and four years. We have an exceptional commitment to revalidation and cover the costs of NMC subscriptions. Furthermore we offer subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the Island alone and support in applying for a local housing licence.
