Representing the interests of midwives and maternity support workers across the UK individually and collectively, we strive to promote excellence, innovation and leadership in the care of childbearing women, the newborn and their families, locally, nationally and internationally.
As the RCM’s Policy Advisor in our External Relations team, you will bring your experience in policy, analytical and project work to:
• Offer analysis and evaluation of health, social and economic policy as it relates to maternity and midwifery services in the UK
• Provide analytical support, guidance, and advice to colleagues across the UK-wide Team RCM and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the formulation, development, and dissemination of RCM policy
You will help us to be the best we can be by:
• using your sector knowledge to provide advice and guidance on policy related queries
• using your experience in writing for publication to produce briefings, articles, blogs and presentations
• using your innovative thinking in your role as operational lead for projects, campaigns and networks
