Hospital Rotational Band 5 and 6
Midwives
At Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust we are offering
an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic maternity team
which is committed to delivering high quality, individualised
women centred care. We are currently a CNST level 3 unit;
we have received awards for work surrounding the normal
birth pathway, teaching innovations and improving patient
safety. In addition we are committed to achieving baby
friendly accreditation.
Wolverhampton has a diverse and challenging population
of pregnant women encompassing high risk pregnancy
and birth, ethnic minority groups and health inequalities.
All applicants should have significant recent midwifery
experience at Band 5/6, demonstrate clinical skills in line
with KSF outlines or equivalent and for the Band 6
Community Midwife show evidence of rotation to all
midwifery areas. Candidates will demonstrate excellent
communication and interpersonal skills in order to promote
the public health agenda and government recommendations
for maternity care. You will possess a degree/diploma in
midwifery related studies.
Hospital Rotational

Full/Part time
These posts will deliver care in our dynamic and innovative
in patient areas within the maternity unit. In patient areas
offer full rotation opportunities for Delivery Suite,
Maternity Triage Unit, Postnatal/Antenatal and Transitional
Care wards.
